Cajon LP, Americana, LP1421, Wood String Cajon
A quality wooden percussion instrument, hand-crafted in Spain and designed for a perfect balance between bass, snare & piccolo.
Six-sided, box-shaped wooden cajons are a classic percussion instrument originally from Peru that have gone on to become popular in all sorts of world music, including flamenco.
Latin Percussion's LP1421 Bubinga Cajon (wooden percussion instrument) features a lateral curve string system where each playing surface is mounted in a way that maintains contact with the strings for perfect balance between bass, snare & piccolo sounds.
It's constructed from 8 ply Finnish birch (9mm) and a 3 play Bubinga wood front plate (4mm) with comfort corners and fitted with twin tension strings. The strings are adjustable by tuning screws at the base.
