Tom Wagner
Born 1979 in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany. After his abitur, Wagner received his musical training at the local gymnasium, further at the Berufsfachschule für Musik in Dinkelsbühl (percussion), and then at the Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg (classical percussion under Matthias Schmitt, Prof. Lutz and Johannes Nied).
Since his exams, Wagner has worked as freelance musician and music teacher.
His first composition was written in 1999 and has these last years concentrated more time writing music for percussion - mostly for smaller ensembles. His pieces are from easy to medium difficulty.
