Dark Abyss was written for Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag for their Siddis Brass and Brass in Concert-program, 'Tales of the North Sea' in 2017.
The piece describes the dark and unknown parts of the North Sea. The thematic material is dark and full of effects trying to imagine whats hiding down at the bottom of the ocean.
