"I have to say first and foremost that I would have been completely stranded if I didn't have my fusion bag. I went on a month long tour in Europe moving between 9 different cities in different countries where I had to be constantly moving from airplanes, trains, buses, or on foot. While I'm moving, I have to pull along my luggage, so having my gear in a bag that is conveniently worn on my back or with a cross-shoulder strap was very helpful. I'm a girl carrying in excess of 20-30lbs of gear, so being mobile and comfortable is really important as I don't really have a strong build.
The compartments were extremely useful for organizing different cords, plug adapters, as well as paper work that I had to keep stored away for easy access for example my passport. Also the design of the opening for the main compartment made it very easy to pull out my laptop and gear when I was going through customs, where I needed to pull my gear out and be able to put it back in with ease as not to hold up all the grumpy people waiting in the security lines for their flights. A big plus is that I'm able to fit my 13" macbook, APC 40, audio interface and cords, comfortably. I found upon my initial search for a bag that there weren't many that could fit all of these, as the APC is larger than typical midi-controllers. Also after gigs, I'm quite tired so I found I was knocking and slightly tossing my bag around, which is never a good idea. Despite doing so, the padding has kept all my gear safe.
Additionally the bag looks attractive and clean. The design isn't over-done--it's well-made, functional, ergonomic, while remaining cool. I found that all sorts of different people came up to me and ask about my bag. It has a unique shape that doesn't look bulky despite the number of things I carry with me.
Overall, a great bag and I'm definitely making great use of it. After the tests and trials I put it through while doing heavy travel and heavy usage, I'm really a fan!!"
