'Friday Im in love' er en sang av det britiske rockbandet The Cure. Låta er den andre singelen hentet fra albumet «Wish» (1992), og var en verdensomspennende hit.
Den vant prisen for European Viewers Choice for Best Music Video på 1992 MTV Video Music Awards.

The Cure begynte først å gi ut musikk på slutten av 1970-tallet med debutalbumet «Three Imaginary Boys» (1979). Dette, sammen med flere tidlige singler, plasserte bandet som en del av postpunk- og New Wave-bevegelsene som hadde kommet opp i kjølvannet av punkrock revolusjonen i Storbritannia.

f. 1970, kommer fra Kolbotn i Oppegård kommune. Han er utdannet ved Norges Musikkhøgskole som blokkfløytist og har jobbet som musiker, undervist og dirigert skole- og voksenkorps flere steder. Esplo behersker en rekke instrumenter og har komponert og arrangert musikk i mange år med særlig hovedvekt på korpsbesetningen.
