The Signature 5 Fp OP Piñana model is the result of a collaboration between flamenco guitarist Carlos Piñana and Manufacturas Alhambra. An instrument with technical specifications that create a highly versatile guitar, offering an excellent price-performance ratio and the qualities required by today's flamenco guitarists.
The 5 Fp OP Piñana model is a flamenco guitar known as "black", marked by the main characteristic of this class of instruments, the use of Indian Rosewood instead of Cypress to make the sides and back.
The construction of flamenco guitars with a cedar top is rare, but Alhambra Guitarras has gone through a development process, using a special configuration of harmonic bars, to achieve a guitar with the flamenco character that distinguishes it, along with a more rounded sound that gives it greater versatility for playing different styles.
The 5 Fp OP Piñana model also stands out for its gold tuning machines, a comfortable African mahogany neck reinforced with ebony, and the use of melamine on the saddle and nut pieces, a highly transmissive material that helps balance the sound.
