Haines: Flow Studies with a Jazz Flavor Trombone

Flow Studies with a Jazz Flavor promotes healthy breath support while also incorporating a clever jazz twist into each etude. There are 42 etudes in which players complete each phrase in one breath to learn how to manage their air flow through the ends of phrases. The etudes are based on jazz concepts and inspired by jazz standards so players can also develop their knowledge of jazz styles as well as transposing motives through multiple key centers. These etudes are challenging and rewarding for all types of players - classical and jazz alike!
