Peter Bahng started making his rosins in New York in 2009. Over 200,000 rosins have been made since then and to this day, each and every rosin is still hand crafted by Peter. The making process has been refined and improved during this time. His rosins have become known and trusted worldwide for their excellent playing properties. Simply put, musicians can rely on his rosins to create a great sound and to allow artistic freedom.
Read how Peter developed his rosins from a young age and created the first rosins under the names of Tartini, then Andrea and now Cecilia.
Sanctus, A Piacere, Solo, and Orchestra rosins have all been made under the ANDREA brand name.
From spring 2020, Cremona in America began replacing the name ANDREA with CECILIA. There is no change in the rosin formulas whatsoever.
CiA ANDREA / CECILIA Solo Rosin Violin - Viola - Cello
Clarity! This rosin gives a pure, clean and projecting sound that soloists love. It has the widest dynamic range and is particularly good for playing in large halls. Solo rosin provides powerful sound projection, yet doesn't compromise on the sensitivity. It is also very forgiving without the 'sound cracks' on the strings under a high amount of bow pressure. You will not be overpowered in the orchestra. You will feel the immediate change in your sound.
Rosin colour: red/brown
Size: Standard/Normal or Small
