'I Love Rock n Roll' ble skrevet i 1975 av Alan Merrill i bandet Arrows, men sangen ble først kjent i 1982-versjonen av Joan Jett & the Blackhearts da den ble en av de første populære musikkvideoer på MTV.
Sangens stødige riff og opprørske holdning har gjort den til en klassiker som består tidens prøve.

'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' was written in 1975 by Alan Merrill of the Arrows, but the song was first made famous by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts in 1982 and became one of the first popular music videos on MTV.
The songs strong riffs and rebelious attitude have made it a classic that has stood the test of time.

SCOTT ROGERS

Scott Rogers har alltid jobbet med musikk for barn og unge, blant annet i korpsbevegelsen, kulturskolen, videregående skoler og som produsent for Rikskonsertenes skolekonsertordningen. I dag er han konsertsjef for Rikskonsertene. Helt siden 1994 har Rogers skrevet og arrangert musikk spesielt tilpasset de yngste. Scott Rogers har sin musikkutdannelse fra St. Olaf College og The Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester i USA.

SCOTT ROGERS

Scott Rogers has always worked with music for young people, in the band movement, community music schools, secondary schools and as a producer for Norways national system of concerts in the schools. At present, he is the artistic director for Concerts Norway. Since 1994, Rogers has written and arranged works especially tailored for the youngest musicians. Scott Rogers recieved his music education from St. Olaf College and the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester USA.
