Medium Hard (M4)
The most versatile stick in the series. Excellent throughout the range of a 5-octave instrument. Harder than the M3 but with a darker sound quality. The M4 is a shade lighter and more maneuverable than the softer mallets in the series. The rattan is between 8.5 and 8.75mm in diameter (approximately 11/32).

Marimba Mallets
Dragonfly marimba sticks produce a full-bodied sound with lots of fundamental but are articulate without being overtly bright. The rubber cores covered in a thin layer of cloth split the difference between conventional yarn- wrapped sticks and traditional latex-rubber mallets. They are especially well-suited to orchestral, ensemble and studio playing but also work well for solo repertoire. All sticks are 16 in length, available on birch or rattan handles, and sold in pairs (except the graduated set).
