Extra Hard (M6)
This is the hardest stick in the series. It is very articulate and hard but still maintains a dark character overall. It is slightly two-toned, allowing for a wide dynamic range. Its great as a hard orchestral mallet or a concerto mallet when projection is most difficult. Also an excellent general-purpose vibe stick.

Marimba Mallets
Dragonfly marimba sticks produce a full-bodied sound with lots of fundamental but are articulate without being overtly bright. The rubber cores covered in a thin layer of cloth split the difference between conventional yarn- wrapped sticks and traditional latex-rubber mallets. They are especially well-suited to orchestral, ensemble and studio playing but also work well for solo repertoire. All sticks are 16 in length, available on birch or rattan handles, and sold in pairs (except the graduated set).
