'Having been working with the Black Dyke Band during the course of 2016, I had been impressed by the sheer artistry and musicianship of two of their star soloists Zoe Hancock and Katrina Marzella and decided that I would write a little duet for them, as a surprise! Thus, the title of this short, and hopefully attractive, piece came about from the fact that I literally wrote it one morning in September 2016. Thereupon I took it to my next scheduled session with the band for a read-through with Zoe and Katrina, and soon after we recorded it together.
