Freer BCH hard felt cover on gradually tapered carbon fiber shafts.
Clear and articulate broad sound with much less point than my US1B for example. Great stick for Prokofiev 6th Symphony, New England Tryptich, Rite of Spring and many others. Excellent in the percussion section or ensemble for tom tom and other drum parts.
