DESCRIPTION
The Freer Maraca Sticks have found their way into nearly 1000 players cases! They fearture a cork core for reduced head weight, better balance, and more maraca sound than other maraca sticks on the market. This is the only maraca mallet that actually gets some rebound off of the head and gives an equal ratio of timpani and maraca sound. A thin rubber grip gives you great control, and a very special type of bead on the inside of the mallet gives a much stronger maraca sound similar to that of an egg shaker. For West Side Story, or Raise The Roof, or any other piece where you want an excellent maraca AND timpani soundthese are what you are looking for. Extremely versatile and also great for pops concerts or the pit when you need more players but are trying to do two things at once.
