Catalina Club 4-piece configurations are built around the foundation of the beloved 14-inch deep bass drum that gives each of these setups a warm and punchy vintage tone.
Catalina Clubs hardware components give the series a distinctive new Gretsch flair that pays homage to the company's rich tradition, while infusing an exciting and progressive personality. From the round gas cap bass drum mount plate and Mini GTS mounting system to the reduced-mass tom mount brackets and Gretsch T-Wing screws and bolts, Catalina Club has an incredible drummer-friendly feel.

The Catalina Club Series quickly became a top seller after its market introduction in the early 2000s. Gretsch decided not to follow beaten tracks when they started the series - drums were produced outside the USA for the first time and mahogany shells were used - but still, they stayed true to their traditions while introducing a drum set for an attractive price.

The series combines traditional configurations with their classic sound and stylish, fashionable hardware. 7-ply mahogany shells provide warm, punchy vintage sounds and the 14" bass drums offer a classic Gretsch depth.

The 30° bearing edge and hardware components add to the unmistakable "Gretsch Flair" - the Catalina Club series is a hommage to the tradtion-rich brand - while being modern and functional.

The classic mahogany shells are still built with the same natural shell interior and 30-degree bearing edge that made them famous. Bass drums include telescopic spurs and matching wood bass drum hoops. Toms and snare drums feature 1.6mm triple flanged hoops and all Catalina Club drums are equipped with Remo® drum heads.
