This disc-shaped stick is the lightest and most agile of the Urethane Series. It is full-bodied without being over-powering. This is a terrific Mahler 3 stick, but also works well for faster, rhythmic passages, like the end of Tchaikovsky 4 and Prokofiev 3.

Bass Drum
The Urethane Series bass drum sticks are a punchy, powerful set of mallets. The urethane core is much heavier than wood, making it a top-heavy stick. The result is excellent articulation and projection without sacrificing low frequencies. The fleece covering minimizes contact tick, without losing clarity.* These are an updated version of a former Dragonfly bass drum mallet that used a skateboard wheel core. All mallets are 15" in length on a 7/8" maple handle.
