The BDDR model is my double headed one hand bass drum roller. This is a necessity for those pieces and of course for any situation where you have a limited percussion section and have to multi task.

DESCRIPTION
Constructed from the exact same materials as the BDFR, it simply has two of the same weighted maple balls and faux fur coverings on each end. The balance of this mallet makes it effortless to roll with one hand when necessary. Perfect for anyone playing in any sort of pit situation, this has been something weve been using for years in the Cleveland Orchestra and people have been calling me to borrow one every time they do Nutcracker or Bartók Sonata. Better balance and roll sound than anything else on the market right now.
