Completely developed at the Yamaha Atelier in Hamburg, the YTR-6335RC, provides busy working players with an instrument that excels across a wide variety of musical genres, and can be played comfortably for long periods of time. Now comes the YTR-6335RCS, a silver-plated version of the popular original for players looking for a crisper, focussed sound that maintains clear definition in the band, particularly in live settings.
Like the original lacquered version, players of the YTR-6335RCS enjoy the fast and easy response, precise intonation and outstanding playability that characterises Commercial Trumpets with features including a one-piece valve casing, a brass reversed lead-pipe, reversed tuning slide, bell connection ferule with gap and curled water key springs on the tuning and third slide.

Easy and quick precise response
The bell connection ferule with gap, together with a reversed tuning slide and curled water key springs have allowed us to create the Commercial trumpets signature easy, quick and precise response.
Projection and flexibility
The sound scape has been achieved via the combination of factors. The two-piece gold brass bell with soldered bell rim gives the instrument its strong core and enormous projection. Plastic valve guides give a more flexible sound whilst the lightweight finger buttons and valve caps not only contribute to the flexibility of the sound but also the additional benefit of a fast response. And while the warm, balanced sound of the YTR-6335RC equips the instrument well for life in the studio and more intimate concert settings, the silver-plated YTR-6335RCS delivers a somewhat more brisk and powerful performance that really cuts through the mix on stage with a big band or horn section.
Outstanding playability
The gold brass reverse type Y01 lead-pipe together with a new one-piece valve casing offers players greater feedback and outstanding playability.
