Requiem Op. 48, Gabriel Faure. Organ reduction by Ingo Bredenbach
Tilgjengelighet: På lager
Description
Thanks to its transparent texture and its many beautiful melodies, which seem to be token the composers highly personal relation to death, the Requiem is perhaps Faurés most popular work.
The musical stucture of this frequently heard piece makes it virtually ideal for performance with organ accompaniment. This arrangement takes into account all three of the composers surviving versions: the early version with string orchestra as well as the two later versions with added winds and with symphony orchestra.
