Two new vibraphone mallets from one of todays most exciting players!
Sasha Berliner designed these to cover the needs of the modern player.
Sashas mallets feature a small mushroom-shaped head for articulation wrapped with a light grey synthetic yarn for a great tone without friction noise on the bars while playing.

Identical in design, Sashas new signature mallet is available in 2 lengths.
The shorter length gives players a quicker feel and response with less weight while playing up-tempo passages, with the longer option providing extra length for 4 mallet players.
Both options have Rattan handles for a classic feel and great

Designed with Sasha herself, the SB2 mallets feature mushroom-shaped heads that give you fantastic articulation at all dynamic levels, and they're covered with synthetic yarn that reduces friction while you play. Additionally, the SB2 mallets sport rattan
handles that provide you with a familiar feel and enhanced durability. Finally, the SB2 is available in two sizes: short and long. The short model is lighter in weight, making it wonderful for playing faster passages; conversely, the long model features extra

festivals in jazz, including the Newport Jazz Festival, the Blue Note, the Monterey Jazz Festival, and others. Sasha is also an esteemed educator and currently serves as Professor of Jazz and Jazz Composition at UC Irvine. Sweetwater is proud to carry her
