The JP133LR/MLR Bb/F Is John Packer's medium bore and medium large bore tenor trombone perfect for school ensembles, training bands and for those players who require a reliable Bb/F trombone but can't justify the cost of a more expensive instrument. Well respected in developing high performing but affordable instruments, JP Musical Instruments have equipped the JP133LR/MLR with a rose brass bell giving it a fullness and maturity in tone that is usually not found at this level. The JP133LR/MLR also features a durable string rotor mechanism ensuring the development of players is supported as much as possible. Recommended by Andy Berryman of the Halle Orchestra, the JP133LR/MLR were described as "excellent value for money and ideal for the aspiring trombone player. I could get away with either of these on a Halle gig."
The JP133LR Bb/F medium bore tenor trombone boasts a slightly larger bell (8.5") compared to its medium large bore counterpart (8") and features an small shank bore measuring .525' versus the large shank .547' bore of the JP133LR. Both models feature a bell ring providing a robust structure and a rose brass bell ensuring a full, dark sound.
